Tukhel made history by taking Chelsea to the final

English club Chelsea have reached the final of the UEFA Champions League after 9 years of beating Spanish giants Real Madrid.

Chelsea face 13-time champions Real Madrid at home in the second leg of the semi-final on Wednesday night. The Blues won 2-0 (3-1 with two legs). With this, the All English final was confirmed.

Through this, Thomas Tuchel became the first coach to reach the European Cup or Champions League Club final twice in a row with two different clubs.

At the end of the match, Tuchel said, “I am very happy that we have achieved this. I am very grateful to have the opportunity to live my life with football and to take this love as a profession. ”

Chelsea reached the Champions League final for the third time. Every time they have achieved this, they have fired their coach in the middle of the season. Jose Mourinho left in the 2006–07 season to be replaced by Avram Grant. Under him, the Blues reached the final, but lost to Manchester United.

Under the new coach, Chelsea reached the final once again in the 2011-12 season. Roberto Di Matteo was sacked in the middle of the season when Andre Vius-Boas was sacked, and Chelsea won the final, beating Bayern Munich in the final.

Tukhel repeated history. The German coach took over from Chelsea when Frank Lampard was sacked in January. They led the team to the FA Cup final before the Champions League and they are on their way to finishing in the top four of the Premier League.

Chelsea will face Manchester City in the final on May 29 in Istanbul, Turkey.
